SUPPORT CIRCLE

Where the circle of support begins

About Support Circle, our purpose, more than four years of support activities, and co-representatives Sakai Kenzi and Uemura Manabu.

More than four years of connecting people and support

Building on the support activities we have continued for more than four years, we share information that connects people with activities and operate support projects.

Reliable information for people who want to help

Many people and activities around the world need support. Yet people who want to help may be unsure where to contribute or how to judge the reliability of information.

Support Circle introduces support stories using information we can confirm. We aim to connect people who want to help with the people and activities that need support.

We are developing an official media platform that explains the background of medical support, child support, animal welfare and international cooperation, and what happens after support is provided.

What matters to us

Check information: identify sources and verification dates, and distinguish articles based on public information from newly verified reports.

Respect dignity: respect people and their families, avoid sensational portrayals of suffering, and check the permitted use of photographs and personal information.

Follow progress: go beyond the first opportunity to donate and explain verified developments and how funds are used.

Our support themes

We currently feature Gia Han’s medical support in Vietnam and support for rebuilding an animal shelter in Malaysia. Our own project pages and world support stories explain the background of each activity.

Who operates the site

Name: Support Circle — Shien no Wa, an unincorporated voluntary association.

Website operations began: December 2024. Co-representatives: Sakai Kenzi / Uemura Manabu.

We share world support stories and plan and operate projects in which we are involved. Current projects include Gia Han Medical Support in Vietnam and Noah’s Ark Ipoh shelter rebuilding in Malaysia.

Sakai Kenzi and Uemura Manabu are involved in operating and coordinating the Gia Han medical support project as co-representatives. We distinguish projects we operate or participate in from articles introducing third-party activities.

Make your decision using each project’s information

Support Circle is not an accreditation body guaranteeing every activity or medical outcome. Please check each campaign’s purpose, operator, conditions and update date before contributing.
