Terms and disclaimer

1. Purpose of the site

Support Circle — Shien no Wa operates a media and portal site introducing world support stories and campaign information. Co-representatives are Sakai Kenzi and Uemura Manabu. It is a voluntary association without legal personality, not an incorporated NPO or public-interest corporation.

2. Published information

We publish information based on sources and facts we can confirm and show verification dates. Medical circumstances, support totals, activities and conditions may change. We do not guarantee immediate updates of all information or results of third-party activities. When significant changes or errors are confirmed, we make corrections or updates within a reasonable scope.

3. Supporting and donating

You can select an amount for Gia Han, Malaysia shelter rebuilding or website/activity support on their respective donation pages and proceed to Stripe Checkout. There is no function for pooled donations across multiple projects. Before supporting, review the purpose, operator, payment method, currency, amount, fees and refund conditions on the relevant project page.

Gia Han is a medical support campaign using Stripe. Payment, currency-conversion and transfer costs may apply. We do not guarantee that the full payment reaches the beneficiary unchanged, that it qualifies for tax relief or that an official donation receipt can be issued.

4. Use of funds and refunds

Website/activity support covers maintenance, research, translation and publishing and is recorded separately from project-designated donations. Direct Malaysia donations support shelter repairs, equipment and hygiene improvements; CAMPFIRE rewards and campaign conditions do not apply and its displayed totals remain separate. Uses of funds and changes are explained per donation page. Gia Han funds are intended for treatment, follow-up and reasonable related medical costs. Allocation may change with actual needs.

Gia Han donations are generally treated as finalized once successfully paid. Refund requests are reviewed individually and may be affected by service restrictions, fees and processing times. Contact supportcircle.jp@gmail.com promptly if an incorrect payment is suspected. This explanation does not promise that a refund will be approved.

5. Medical information and activity outcomes

Medical articles introduce support stories and do not provide diagnosis or treatment advice. Consult medical professionals for medical decisions. Support helps access necessary care; it does not guarantee a particular treatment outcome, cure, restored vision or activity result.

6. External services

Campaign platforms, Stripe and social networks apply their own terms and policies. Destination content and service conditions are managed by their operators. Check destination URLs and conditions.

7. Images and text

Rights to text and images belong to their respective rights holders. Publication on Support Circle alone does not allow unauthorized reproduction or reuse by third parties. Check source conditions before separately using stock material.

Do not confuse actual photographs of people and families with generated or stock images. Illustrative images are identified. Do not reuse them as though they show actual beneficiaries or activities.

8. Sharing and prohibited conduct

Sharing official page URLs on social media is welcome. Do not distort context in ways that harm beneficiaries, make false solicitations, impersonate others, raise funds without authorization, infringe rights or access systems unlawfully.

9. Disclaimer and service changes

Read content and conditions when viewing information, using external services or deciding to support. We cannot guarantee medical outcomes, every action of a beneficiary or the continuity of external services. This is not intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Pages may change or be suspended for corrections, maintenance or changes in publication permission. Significant changes will be explained where possible.
